Introduction
Members of families living below the poverty line under the National Social Assistance Program (NFBS) by the Government of India, Ministry of Rural Development, Department of Rural Development, providing social security to the aggrieved family in case of natural / unnatural death. Financial assistance is provided for the purpose of The implementation and operation of the scheme is being done by the Madhya Pradesh Government, Social Justice and Disabled Welfare Department.

Purpose
National Family Assistance Scheme is being operated with the aim of providing social security to the victim’s family, who are living below the poverty line, whose natural / unnatural death occurs.

Beneficiary:

It is mandatory for the deceased to be over 18 years of age but below 59 years. The deceased has been the main earning member of the family. The deceased should be a member of a family living below the poverty line.

Benefits:

Amount Rs. 20,000 / - subsidy is provided in lump sum from center share.

How To Apply

Submit the application in the prescribed application form to the Gram Panchayat / Janpad Panchayat in the rural area falling under their original residence, with the following records in the Municipal Corporation / Municipality / Nagar Panchayat office in the urban area: –
Age certificate
Death certificate
BPL Card
Primary report filed in police in case of accidental death.
