Introduction
The Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme is being operated by the Government of India, Ministry of Rural Development, Department of Rural Development, under the National Social Assistance Program (NSAP), with the objective of providing financial assistance to the living below poverty line. Implementation and operation of the scheme is being done by the Madhya Pradesh Government, Social Justice and Disabled Department.

Purpose
The Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme is being operated with the objective of providing financial assistance to the elderly living below the poverty line.

Beneficiary:

The age of the applicant (male or female) is 60 years or more. The applicant should belong to a family living below the poverty line as per the criteria set by the Government of India.

Benefits:

Pension is given at the rate of ₹ 600 per month to the beneficiaries between the age of 60 years and 79 years, which includes ₹ 200 center share and ₹ 400 state share. Pension to the beneficiaries of 80 years and above at the rate of ₹ 600 per month. Which includes ₹ 500 center share and ₹ 100 state share.

How To Apply

The application in the prescribed application form in the rural area of ​​his native residence- Gram Panchayat / Janpad Panchayat, three photographs in the office of Municipal Corporation / Municipality / Nagar Panchayat in urban area, certificate for confirmation of age and BPL. Submit with card.
