Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Nishakt Pension Yojana
Introduction
The Indira Gandhi National Disabled Pension Scheme is being operated by the Government of India, Ministry of Rural Development, Department of Rural Development, with the objective of providing financial assistance to the persons living below poverty line under National Social Assistance Program (NSAP). Implementation and operation of the scheme is done by the Madhya Pradesh Government, Social Justice and Disabled Welfare Department.
Purpose
Indira Gandhi National Disabled Pension Scheme has been started in the state from 01-04-2009, under the scheme, pensioners are paid pension amount under the head of Government of India, living below the poverty line.

Beneficiary:
Applicants will be aged 18 to 79 years. The applicant should belong to a family living below the poverty line as per the criteria laid down by the Government of India. The applicant should be a person with disability who has 80 percent or more disability.
Benefits:
The disabled beneficiary is paid a pension at the rate of ₹ 600 per month which includes ₹ 300 center share and ₹ 300 state share.
How To Apply
Submit the application in the prescribed application form to the Gram Panchayat / Janpad Panchayat in rural area, Municipal Corporation / Municipality / Nagar Panchayat office in urban area along with the following records: –
Three photos
Disability certificate
Age proof certificate
BPL Card
