Deendayal Antyodaya Mission was established under the Madhya Pradesh Government, Social Justice and Disabled Welfare Department keeping in view the common people’s spirit and their participation to help the disabled, poor and vulnerable families of the state. Under this, a scheme to provide financial assistance for the mass marriage of destitute, poor girl / widow / abandoned was started in the year 2006 under the name of Chief Minister Kanya Marriage Scheme.
Mukhya Mantri Nikah Yojana
Deendayal Antyodaya Mission was established under the Department of Social Justice, Government of Madhya Pradesh to help the disabled, poor and vulnerable families of the state, keeping in mind the common people and their participation. Under this, a scheme for providing financial assistance for the mass marriage of destitute, poor Muslim girl / widow / abandoned was formulated and started in the year 2012 under the name Mukhyamantri Nikah Yojana. The criteria of eligibility / conditions in the said scheme is the same as that of the Chief Minister Kanya Marriage Scheme.

Purpose
The Government of Madhya Pradesh is to provide financial assistance for the marriage of eligible girls / widows / abandoned families of the beneficiaries registered under the schemes of the poor and needy, destitute / poor families of poor and labor cadre.

Beneficiary:

The parent of a girl child is a native of Madhya Pradesh. Must have completed 18 years of age for the girl and 21 years for the male. Name should be mentioned on the entire portal.

Benefits:

Rs. 48,000 / - is deposited in the account of the girl child for the establishment of the girl's household and for the reimbursement of organizing the mass marriage program, i.e. the urban body, the Janpad Panchayat, Rs. 3,000 / - as a total of Rs. 51,000 /- is a provision.
