Acharya Vidyasagar Gau Samvardhan Yojna
Objective
The aim is to increase milk production. Improve the economic condition of the beneficiaries. To provide opportunities for increase in the milk production capacity of animals.
Scheme
Planning Scheme For all categories of beneficiaries, the beneficiary must have a minimum of 1 acre of agricultural land for 5 animals and the minimum agricultural land will be determined by increasing proportionately with the increase in the number of animals. Milk route implementation priority.
Unit cost:
The animal can approve a minimum 5 or more animal plans and the maximum limit of the project is Rs. 10.00 lakhs. 75% of the project cost will have to be obtained through bank loan and the remaining amount will have to be arranged as margin money assistance and the beneficiary’s own contribution. The interest will be reimbursed by the department for 7 years at a rate of 5 percent annual interest (maximum Rs. 25,000 per annum) at 75 percent of the unit cost or on the loan received by the beneficiary from the bank, whichever is less. The interest will have to be reimbursed by the beneficiary himself at the remaining interest rate above 5 percent.
Selection Procedure: Approval of beneficiaries in Gram Sabha. Approval of the approved beneficiaries from the Gram Sabha in the Janpad Panchayat meeting. After the approval of Janpad Panchayat, the Deputy Director Animal Husbandry Department of the district will send the approval to the bank for approval of the approved case and obtain the approval.

Benefits:
25% of the project cost for general category, maximum Rs. 1.50 lakh Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes, 33% of the project cost, maximum Rs. 2.00 Lakhs.
