MP Children’s Sponsorship Private (Private Sponsorship) Scheme

Beneficiary:

1. Basic criteria of sponsorship:- • Children below the age of 18 years (boys/girls) • The family should be living below the poverty line in the mentioned provisions. • In the provisions in which it is not mandatory to have a BPL family, the Sponsorship and Parenting Care Approval Committee (SFCAC) mentioning the reasons keeping in view the needs of the family and the best interest of the child. Will choose 2. Order of priority under the scheme • Children whose mother and father have both died and the relative's family is also a family below the poverty line. • Priority to the family living below the poverty line in all categories. • Children whose parent or child is helpless or suffering from serious illness including HIV/AIDS.

Benefits:

Under the scheme, financial assistance of Rs.2000/- per month will be provided to the parents/single mother/single father/family for at least one year.
