The District Informatics Centre of NIC established in 1988 to promote ICT culture in State Govt. Department and Central Govt. Department. Since its inception NIC is providing ICT infrastructure to District Administration and various Govt. departments for providing e-Governance along with integrated services and best practices. Implementation and maintenance of various Central levels, State level & District level projects are in progress.NIC extended NICNET connectivity to collectorate LAN, Forest, and Post Office. Basic Computer, Application training and technical support for creation of ICT Infrastructure, management and maintenance of e-Governance services for the user are being provided. Highly qualified IT Professionals are there in order to achieve transparency in automation of process & functioning of Govt. department, towards e-governance that results in better governance.
